Overview
To schedule, raise and manage production contracts on a day-to-day basis. Confirming orders and delivery dates as well as responding to customer queries. Planning and scheduling deliveries and confirming packing requirements with the factory.
This position is full time, permanent (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Job Detail
- Support designated members of the sales, production, and design team
- Manage and report on order bank
- Maintain customer relationships
- Repricing of customer schedules in line with approved manufacturing drawings
- Prepare data for profit and loss stats on a monthly basis
- Arrange packing requests with factory
- Arrange transport of goods to sites
- Prepare and send sample requests
- Effectively manage the production planner
- Assist credit control in managing customer credit limits
Essential
- Previous contract management experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong ability in Windows PC environment. Particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Good IT skills, including spreadsheet and database management
- Basic understanding of accounts and finance
- Ability to read and understand technical construction drawings
- A positive attitude and a flexible approach to work in demanding situation
- Proven problem-solving ability in the construction and/or manufacturing sector
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
- Construction/manufacturing industry experience
- Full clean driving license
